Our ProduCE
We love experimenting with new and diverse fruits and vegetables and herbs each year to find out what is the most delicious, beautiful, long-lasting, and nutritious.
Our seasonal produce is a showcase of what can be grown in Missouri, and every year we gain a better understanding of what varieties are best suited for our climate and how we can improve upon it.
We have shared: radishes, carrots, herbs, sweet potatoes, snap peas, beans, cucumbers, zucchini, squash, tomatoes, eggplant, Swiss chard, rutabaga, kale, spinach, lettuce, tatsoi, bok choy, peppers, okra, onions, shallots, garlic, turnips, beets, kohlrabi, gourds, melons, loofah (and so much more).
Our small homestead orchard includes many interesting fruit-producing plants, bushes, and trees like: peach, pear, apple, hardy kiwi, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, juju, goumi, pawpaw, persimmon, orange, lemon, and fig.

Our entire yard is filled with well-established perennials like: peonies, hydrangeas, lilacs, coneflower, hyssop, lavender, aster, sedum, black-eyed Susan, blazing star, blue star, and yarrow.
The garden also includes an ever-expanding amount of annuals like: zinnias, cosmos, marigolds, amaranth, poppy, sunflowers, nigella, statice, snapdragons, stock, aster, tulips and many more.
